JEA Family

The lives of John, Elijah, and Andrew Washo were short but impactful.

This excerpt from their obituary gives you a great idea of their experiences…

Where John, Elijah and Andrew’s lives were short, they were filled with great adventures.

They enjoyed a helicopter ride across the Wyoming Valley from one hospital to another;

they felt the splash of holy water from a perfectly formed sea shell during their baptism;

they became famous by touching the lives and hearts of hundreds from the news of their arrival and departure;

they were told exciting stories about the plans that were made for them as they grew older;

they were scooped up by hands of family members who instantly fell in love with them;

they were decked out in mini white suits with bow ties;

they learned about the great Atlanta Braves baseball team and how awesome the band Pearl Jam is;

they visited three unknown and mysterious worlds in just 24 hours – the womb, the earth and Heaven.

At the end of their adventure, they met a new friend named Jesus.

Jason & Amy Washo

Jason and Amy Washo are the proud parents of John, Elijah, and Andrew, and feel so extremely blessed that they were able to love and care for triplet sons in this lifetime. Jason and Amy were so touched by the outpouring of love and support from family, friends, doctors, nurses, hospital staff, and even complete strangers after the death of their boys. Combining that with their intention to honor the legacy of their sons, the Remember JEA Foundation is the perfect way to extend this support to others who have experienced infant loss and also fund research and training that will hopefully save premature babies in the future.
